Make sure that your battery is fully charge, or minimum available is 70%
Download and Install USB Driver for Asus Android. you can download here.
Download ADB Fastboot Tool (here)
Download Asus Zenfone 2 Original Firmware. (ZE551ML / ZE550ML / ZE500Cl)

Turn Off your Asus Zenfone 2

Activate your Asus Zenfone 2 into recovery mode, See This Guide to do it. or This Guide
Than you can select apply update from ADB.
Next step is connect your Asus Zenfone 2 to PC or Computer using USB Cable.
Then you can open command prompt in your windwos PC (in the same folder with ADB)
Check connection between Asus Zenfone 2 with your PC or laptop by type adb devices. If your connection is connect sucessfully it will list Asus Zenfone 2.
Then you type adb sideload file.zip

file.zip is adjust the file name, asus zenfone firmware that you download earlier.

You can wait this process until complete.

lanjutan dari artikel cara hard reset Asus Zenfone 5 yang telah posting beberapa jam yang lalu, sekarang akan kita bahas cara melakukan flash pada Asus zenfone 5. langkahnya pun tidak terlalu sulit untuk dilakukan oleh beginer atau pemula, asla anda ikuti dengan baik dan benar uraian artikel ini.

Sebelum anda lanjutkan untuk memulai proses flashing Asus Zenfone 5, terlebih dulu anda harus menyiapkan bahan-bahnay yang sudah saya racik untuk di download.

Langkah Flash Asus Zenfone 5

Install terlebih dahulu Intel USB Driver for Android, jika anda belum punya, silahkan download. atau jika tidak bekerja silahkan anda download dengan seraching lewat bantuan mbah saya, yaitu google.
Download ADB Fastboot tool disini
Download Firmware

Pilih tab "driver and tools"
terus pilih OS "Android" pada menu dropdown yang disediakan.
Pilih jenis firmware seperti WW, TW, CN atau CHT yang ada di situs asus tersebut sesuai dengan handphone android anda.
Cara mengeceknya di handphone yaitu di Setting-->About-->Software Information-->Build Number.
Pada keterangan build number tersebut silahkan diamati apakah firmware handphone anda berjenis WW, TW, CN, atau CHT.
Jika anda sudah tidak dapat masuk ke home Zenfone UI (misalkan karena bootloop), anda bisa mengeceknya pada dosbook zenfone 5 anda. Kalo punya saya sih ada keterangan firmware WW nya. Pilih firmware yang terbaru. Ukuran dari firmwarenya sekitar 600-an MB dan berekstensi .zip.

Langsung Praktek.

Matikan (Power Off) Asus Zenfone anda.
Silahkan masuk ke Mode "Zenfone Fastboot Mode" dengan cara menekan tombol power dan volume up secara bersama-sama. Setelah itu akan terdapat menu Zenfone Fastboot mode diantaranya, yaitu : Reboot Droidboot, Reboot, Recovery, Factory Reset, dll. Pada tahap ini silahkan pilih menu "recovery". Untuk navigasi atas dan bawah gunakan vol up dan vol down. Untuk memilih salah satu, yaitu dengan menekan tombol power.
Setelah memilih menu "recovery", maka anda akan dihadapkan pada gambar robot android yang terlentang dengan tulisan "No Command". Nah, pada tahap ini anda diharuskan untuk masuk ke mode "Android System Recovery" dengan cara menekan dan menahan vol down, lalu menekan tombol vol up (dengan tetap menahan tombol vol down) dan melepas tombol vol up saja (Tombol vol down tetap ditahan). Jika anda berhasil, maka anda akan dihadapkan pada mode "Android System Recovery" dengan pilihan menu "reboot system now", "apply update from adb", "wipe cache", dll.
Setelah itu sambungkan Zenfone 5 anda dan PC dengan menggunakan kabel USB.INGAT!!, driver intel for android harus sudah terinstall. Setelah itu pilih menu "apply update from adb" pada "Android System Recovery" di zenfone 5 anda.
Jika berhasil maka, akan terdapat notifikasi pada PC bahwa Android ADB telah terhubung.
Setelah itu extract ADB Fastboot tool yang telah didownload sebelumnya.
extract juga firmware yg diperoleh dari asus dalemnya zip LAGI, ganti nama zip itu pake yang gampang misal "USER.zip" lalu pindahin dalam satu folder ADB Fastboot tool
Buka Command Prompt yg ada di dalam folder ADB Fastboot tool "START.cmd" langsung ketik adb[spasi]sideload[spasi]USER.zip
Setelah itu pada Command Promt akan keluar proses uploading firmware dari PC ke Zenfone. Tunggu hingga 100%.
Setelah proses upload seleasi, perhatikan pada Zenfone 5 anda, disana nanti terdapat proses instalasi firmware. Jika tahap instalasi telah berhasil dan tidak terdapat pesan error, maka nanti anda akan dihadapkan pada "Android System Recovery". Setelah itu pilih menu "Reboot System Now"
Setelah reboot, maka Asus zenfone 5 anda akan kembali ke sediakala seperti baru lagi.

When you finished flash custom recovery, you would give tons of features and install other tweaks that require full system access to your android devices. Now, I will explain to you how to unlock bootloader on your Zenfone 2 phones devices.

Unlock Bootloader On Asus Zenfone 2

Attention : Unlocking your device may void all or parts of your warranty by Asus Zenfone. and you will never get OTA updates by Asus Zenfone. And one thing should you know that in this guide we can not get back our bootloader. it's mean you can Relock Bootloader. So, Beware what will you do.

Guide To Unlock Bootloader Zenfone 2.

Make sure you have battery fully charged, we recomended that you have 80% of power
Warning : Your Asus Zenfone 2 might go dead permanently when your phone goes off suddenly, because your battery power is not charger properly when you perfomrming flash ROMs or installing mods and updates
Always backup your important data, like music, video, and other application will delete or wipe all. So, you must backup all data before unlock bootloader. for backup SMS data you can see this guide
Next step is Update your Asus Zenfone 2 to 2.19.40. you can update your device with OTA or the other method.
Then you have to root your Asus Zenfone 2, see this guide
Download and install adb in your PC or laptop. to download and the other detail instruction you can visit this page
Download and Install USB Driver for Asus Android. you can download here.
Then, connect your Asus Zenfone 2 to your PC or laptop using USB cable driver

Then you can open command prompt in your windwos PC (in the same folder with ADB). to open command prompt you can click start, then on the search progrmas and files, you can type cmd then follow with enter.
Unlock Bootloader On Asus Zenfone 2
Check connection between Asus Zenfone 2 with your PC or laptop by type adb devices. If your connection is connect sucessfully it will list Asus Zenfone 2.
Then type adb shell and (pressed enter)
Then typ su (pressed enter)
Then type getprop ro.isn > /factory/asuskey ( pressed enter)
Then type reboot bootloader ( pressed enter )
Phone will restart in recovery, after updating it self phone will restart and ASUS splash screen will be white ( locked bootloader has black screen, you will see difference yourself)
Next step, you can download black splash screen from here . if you need password please leave your email on comment bellow

Then, navigate to adb folder opened cmd and typed the following commands

adb reboot bootloader (pressed enter)
fastboot devices (pressed enter)

You can see if your Asus Zenfone 2 device is listed, then write following

fastboot flash splashscreen splashscreen.img (pressed enter)

Finally restart your phone and Now black splash screen is back.
Congrats your bootloader Asus Zenfone 2 is now unlocked.
